ICES has been striving to accomplish its vision and mission via the following activities:

·        Believing in societal inclusion through educational inclusion, in which all learners are respectfully and equally served, in 2009 ICES opened NIS on the same campus as NISS.

·        ICES formed a memorandum of understanding with Kennesaw State University, USA, in 2009.

·        ICES, Kennesaw State University, and Kuwait University collaboratively trained staff, educated community leaders, and conducted inclusion awareness programs for the community at large and all stakeholders.

·        ICES led awareness programs for the community, such as the conference: Building Bridges - 2010, Contemporary Trends in Inclusive Education and Its Challenges – 2011

·        Both schools transparently share the campus, some facilities, and some activities, such as UNESCO and Kuwait National/Liberation celebrations, Sports Day, and joint Schools Graduation.

·        ICES encouraged and organized local marathons to include all special needs with general education students.

·        ICES has been proud to have collaborated with local and international educational bodies such as Gulf University for Science and Technology (GUST), Kuwait University, Kuwait Institute for Science and Research (KISR), Kennesaw State University (KSU), Dale Carnegie, and World Disability Union (WDU).

·        ICES encouraged research and researchers to contribute to knowledge economy via the following activities:

1.      Collaboratively Al Nibras Ideal School for Special Needs (NISS) and Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research (KISR) conducted a study titled: “Evaluating the Efficiency of Using the “EStories” App”

2.      ICES supported researchers to conduct surveys to help them collect the necessary data from stakeholders for their research.

3.      ICES participated in World Handicapped Union (WDU) in Turkey in 2011.

4.      ICES conducted the conference titled: “Knowledge Economy and Quality of Education – 2013”, meetings, workshops, and different activities.

5.      ICES conducted the conference: “Contemporary Trends in Inclusive Education… And Its Challenges” in March 2011.

6.      Hosted PEAK Conference for the Academic year 2019 – 2020 which held the title of “Inclusion is a Way of Life…” in which more than 1000 educators attended and contributed to workshops.

 ·        ICES has worked collaboratively with Kuwait Public Authority for Disabled Affairs (PADA) and Ministry of Education to raise inclusion awareness among the educational milieu, parents, and students to include, not exclude, students with learning disabilities.

·        Believing in its students’ ability to excel in different activities and competitions, ICES and its schools supported students via the following activities:

1.     Participation of NISS student Khaled Badi Al-Dossary with the team of “Journey of Hope” 2013-2014.

2.       NISS student Maryam Diab won the position of official speaker for the Middle East and North Africa for the International Special Olympics for Special Needs on 9/26/2018.

3.       The participation of the two NISS students, Musa Abdel Aziz and Khaled Sabah Al-Zanki, in the Festival of My Country Plants in Egypt.

4.       The participation of foundation stage students for five consecutive years in Al-Amal camp in Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services in the United Arab Emirates from 2013 to 2018.

5.      The participation of the student, Musa Abdul Aziz from the Comprehensive Rehabilitation Department, as a volunteer in Al Amal Camp in Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services 2016-2017

6.      Participation of NISS and NIS students in organizing the PEAK conference in 2019-2020.

7.      Organization of the Holy Quran Competition by NISS at the level of schools for special needs in Kuwait for 8 consecutive years under the patronage of the founder and general manager of Al-Nibras Schools Dr. Nora Al Dahery, the Media Department, Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs and Boubyan Bank.

8.       Organization of the annual Nibras Schools Bazaar for three years, and the third bazaar was in Salwa Hall, and allocating financial returns to support cancer patients in 2014.

9.       NISS students won second place in the green environment competition for two consecutive years under the patronage of Boubyan Bank, paper recycling projects 2016-2017.
